WIndows, studding and floor joists The upper floor joists are clearly seen here, as are the studwork assemblies that triangulate the main oak frame.

Roof complete! Here we see the main first floor area taking shape with wind braces for the rafters clearly visible.

The rafters over the car port area are exposed so the client specified oak rafters here, designed around a fully hipped roof.

Cladding being attached In this photograph we see the cladding being attached to the framework of studding and braces.

In the first floor gable there is a doorway into the storage area.

Roofworks underway On day six of the erection of the building, the roofers were on site to start felting and battening the rafters.

The effect of the finished cladding is clearly seen here.

Tiles in place We now have the tiling completed to a very high standard.

For this project the customer wanted the tiles to match those on his house. We sourced the correct tiles of an exact match to ensure customer satisfaction.

Hipped end This shot shows the hipped end of the finished building, with traditional curved braces offering support to the car port legs.

The intricate rafters of the exposed roofworks are made from oak.
